minutiae+musings started out as a space for me to appreciate and break down the small details we often take for granted in music, film, television and more. Artists and producers spend a lot of time refining their craft, putting thought and care into every aspect of what they make and not all of it is noticed.
Over time it’s become a bit more than that – it’s about cataloguing and sharing the thoughts about works that I normally keep to myself. So in a way my life is itself the work that I’m interpreting too much.
Call it close reading, extrapolation or whatever else you want – these are things and moments that I love and want to point out, deconstruct and share. If I can find someone who feels the same way about these things as I do, then I’ll consider this blog a success!
In other words, I’m getting my pseudo-intellectual ramblings typed up before I die.
I’ll also most likely find other things to write about too since that’s what a blogs are for, right?
